Aerolite Ltd.
Founded in 1995, the Ennetbürgen-based company specialises in designing and implementing innovative interior fittings for rescue helicopters, ambulance aircraft and business aircraft. It operates all over the world. Customers in Switzerland include Pilatus Aircraft, Rega, Jet Aviation and other operators. Aerolite employs around 110 specialists.

Artemis Group
Artemis Group comprises the Franke Group, the Artemis Real Estate Group, the majority stake in Feintool Group and the Artemis Asset Management Group (various strategic investments in international companies listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange as well as in private companies). In 2021, the Group, with around 11,000 employees worldwide, generated sales of almost CHF 3.3 billion.

Bettermann AG
Bettermann AG is one of the leading manufacturers of installation systems for the electrical equipment of buildings and technical facilities. OBO Bettermann products (OBO stands for “ohne Bohren”, or “without drilling”) were used in the Swisspor Arena in Lucerne, in the new buildings of Pilatus Aircraft Works, in the Gotthard Base Tunnel and in The Circle at Zurich Airport.

CAG Cartonnagen AG
Since 1932, Cartonnagen AG has been manufacturing and developing packaging for almost every type of consumer goods, from chocolate to screws, from medication to toothbrushes, as standard or individual solutions. The company with its 1,001 boxes, sleeves and packaging also includes a state-of-the-art machine park.

Druckerei Odermatt AG
Odermatt produces art books for Yoko Ono, Damien Hirst, Urs Fischer and many other well-known artists. With their extensive portfolio and 60 award-winning books in the “Schönste Schweizer Bücher” competition, the printing specialists from Dallenwil have gained an international reputation. In doing so, they attach particular importance to advice, quality and excellent customer service.

Engelberger Druck AG
Engelberger Druck AG in Stans has been on the cutting edge of monochrome printmaking since 1896. In the 127-year history of the family business, 73 printing presses were purchased, 151 apprentices trained and around 1.68 million litres of ink were printed on over 136 million tonnes of paper. Today, the fifth generation of Engelbergers fulfils every kind of printing requirement.

Frank Türen AG
Over the course of 125 years, Frank Türen AG has evolved from the village carpentry workshop of 1897 to become a specialist in security doors. The company, now in its fourth generation, is successfully pushing the bar in Switzerland and beyond – against burglars, fire, noise and smoke. Examples include the Rolex office building in Biel, the UN headquarters in New York, the Bundeshaus Berne and Zurich Airport.

Frey AG Stans
One of the world’s leading companies for the planning and manufacture of cable car controls and drives is based in Nidwalden, the country of a “thousand railways”. The best-known of the 100 or so completed projects are the CabriO cableway to the Stanserhorn, the Arosa-Weisshorn cableway, the Eibsee cableway to the Zugspitze, and the cableways to Sugar Loaf Mountain in Rio and the Teide Mountain in Tenerife.

Glas Trösch AG, FIRESWISS Buochs branch
In the imposing glass building on the A2 motorway in Stans, one of Europe’s leading flat glass manufacturing and processing companies has its branch office. Glas Trösch AG operates at 70 locations in 13 countries and employs around 6,000 people.

Hergiswiler Glas AG
The Hergiswil glassworks has been in existence at its current location at the foot of Mount Pilatus for more than 200 years. In 1975, Roberto Niederer prevented its closure and, together with his son Robert, shaped the design of the “Glasi”. It is the last glassworks in Switzerland to process glass into contemporary, unique shapes by mouth and hand.
